Henri Cartier-Bresson

Eu ABSOLUTAMENTE amo essa frase dele:

“To take photographs is to hold one’s breath when all faculties converge in the face of fleeing reality. ... It is putting one’s head, one’s eyes and one’s heart on the same axis. ... It is a way of shouting, of freeing oneself, not of proving or asserting one’s originality. It is a way of life.”
Henri Cartier-Bresson

Vejam os documentários:

(aviso aos sensíveis e apaixonados por FOTOGRAFIA DE VERDADE, uma caixinha de kleenex vai bem).

Richard Avedon

"Richard Avedon Quotes"
"If a day goes by without my doing something related to photography, it's as though I've neglected something essential to my existence, as though I had forgotten to wake up."

"A portrait photographer depends upon another person to complete his picture. The subject imagined, which in a sense is me, must be discovered in someone else willing to take part in a fiction he cannot possibly know about."

"A portrait is not a likeness. The moment an emotion or fact is transformed into a photograph it is no longer a fact but an opinion. There is no such thing as inaccuracy in a photograph. All photographs are accurate. None of them is the truth."

Por essas e por outras, sou muito fã!!!!
